She has done business with gangsters in her empire building and burst into tears when confronted and played the naive silly sweet girl when found out when 99% of the time she portrays herself as a super intelligent no nonsense lawyer. I despise the Tories for not reversing housing policies in the UK in recent times, but that will never be matched by the hate I have for this woman and her murdering husband. I heard that saying first from Steve Coogan and though I am normally very suspect of anyone who goes though life far right or far left without ever budging I think he hit the nail on the head with that one. I am older and wiser now, but even today I will watch a politician or anyone for that matter get on stage looking presentable, sincere and articulate and there will always be a part of me who thinks they are speaking the truth, or could it be that I just trust too much and want a see a better world, maybe the vast majority of us are like that and the politicians see it is our weakness, and they are a minority where they can look you in the eyes and lie though these teeth with no problems at all. Unfortunately the prevalence of such good altruistic human characteristics among the population creates an attractive hunting ground for narcissists, psychopaths and sociopaths. Evolutionary theory predicts that there will be a thriving sub-population of such parasites and exploiters, and that they are likely to have higher than average intelligence. We really do need to recognize this and somehow screen them out of positions of power.

They look presentable and articulate on the outside, but are a writhing mass of inner immorality and repulsiveness. I always imagine estate agents and politicians to be kindred spirits and brothers and sister in arms. I truly believe there are people out there who want to make the world a better place, even in the houses of Parliament, but they are just to weak at the moment, the greedy, evil and devious have the upperhand right now. Nah it is Equity that is evil and immoral wealth extracting, houses are the investment of choice of the socialist classes. House in Islington or FTSE 100, wonder which will fair better come the Revolution of 22. Even the Rent a Commies in the Labour party have more than one property. Hmmm well the [large] majority of the people in Britain vote not for what's best for the 'greater good', but merely for who will put the most money in their pocket. That became the norm in the 80s, when hyper-individualism, greed and self-service was not only morally acceptable, it became to be a thing to celebrate. When it became OK to be an obnoxious human being, as long as one was a 'winner'. Jimmy Carter went on to TV in 1977 to warn of the perils of greed and casting aside the social contract - and he was laughed out of office. Decadence was the order of the day. So - just like the Yanks who led us into the 'greed is good' culture - in the end analysis, we get the leaders and the society (although of course there's no such thing...apparently) we deserve. Collectively, we get the elected representatives and governments we create and select, although they are particularly savvy at capitalizing on the levers of power and divisions and using them to entrench and maintain their lofty place in the status quo. Indeed power corrupts. Houses and public sector final salary schemes will always have special dispensation from damaging changes to the law that might affect rights or values. As someone who has studied NLP I cannot understand why people dismiss the concept of understanding how the world markets to you and works with your emotions and thought patterns to influence you. Surely your best protection is understanding as far as possible how you are being influenced ? Sadly most people are sheeple and have no interest in learning how they are being manipulated
