Greater Anglia sued by passenger over 'continual' delays

Recommended Posts

This guy has clearly put a lot of time, energy and money into this. Which shows just how deeply, deeply pissed off he is about the "service" he's been receiving.

Ironically all he will end up doing is getting the train timetable rescheduled so journeys take 10-15 minutes longer to ensure he isn't delayed.

Do train operating companies have the power to set the timetables however they want? I thought they had to run that kind of thing past Whitehall.

South Western are introducing new trains with WiFi, presumably so people will find it quicker and easier to post the latest delays/cancellations on Tw*tter or Facecloth

prolly to book taxis/check bus timetables from stations they are stuck at.

Maybe so they can email SW trains and ask them what the delay is at the front.

Northern Rail (absolutely abysmal service, both in terms of reliability and overcrowding) changed their Facebook page so Visitors' couldn't post anymore a few months back. Probably because they were getting hammered due to their s**t service. Typical reaction nowadays - attempt to bury the problem rather than face the issue.
