Letting fee ban delayed until at least spring 2019

It happened, listened to it end-to-end on parliament TV. Not a single objection from anyone.

They're taking their time, but there is no way this ain't happening. Consensus like this in parliament doesn't happen every day.

It's been decided that Wales will also bring in the ban. No start date postulated either. Lots of poverty in Wales. Particularly amongst the young and low-waged i.e. the people most likely to be tenants. Doesn't the government realise they are messing with people's lives. £200 is peanuts to a home-counties Tory but it's a hell of a lot for a young person in rural Wales.

Knowing when the agents will be banned from demanding this from them in exchange for the chance to pay a BTLer's mortgage would at least give them an idea over whether its worth moving to a bigger town city for better work or not.
