Effectively, they need to convince the equivalent of the population of Wakefield or North Lanarkshire to each pay a tenner in order to win a flat and a car. How come these scams schemes always end well below target?

At £10 a ticket they’ll need to sell a lot of tickets. I guess they have exposure in the Telegraph now. I still doubt they will sell enough tickets.

Will the prize only be awarded if, say, 300k people have bought tickets? Or could one person by the only ticket sold and correctly guess the ball's location, thus winning the house?
