Cold for here, especially as the forecasters predicted a modest +1C. Now it seems I need to pop outside right now if I am to experience anything below +8C before Christmas. Can this really be true? Being a tortoise owner and aware of the need to keep the chap >+1C, <+10C, this is not just perplexing but damned inconvenient. Meanwhile I believe the Murray Firth was bathed today in +15C. Crazy.
