Natural Selection favouring fat cradle snatchers

Recommended Posts

Apparently evolution is favouring men with higher BMIs and younger mothers.

So if your a man either get down the gym or eat more pies.

I think in the study high BMI is associated with greater muscle mass (i.e. fitter, gym-going men).

And men aiming for younger women is entirely normal and the natural state of affairs (men go for youth/fertility), so no surprises there.

The article doesn't say it's about men trying to get with younger women. The study authors said if women start families earlier they have time to have more children. There's also a link with low educational attainment in women -> earlier birth of first child -> more children in a lifetime, so natural selection is selecting for women with low educational attainment.

Did Charles Darwin account for tax credits in "On the Origin of Species"?

Professionals are too busy keeping their landlords in cruises and the part timers clothed and fed to be thinking about breeding.
