250,000 In "fuel Poverty", 1.5 Million Households

Gordon's "economic miracle" may have made BTLs rich (for the time being) but it is impoverishing 1.5 million households according to studies. This figure will rise to 2.7 million households in 2007.

The financial frenzy of the past 10 years is beginning to show its legacy. Out of control borrowing and debt, house prices out of reach of almost ALL FTBs, 1.5 milion households impoverished, rising unemployment, a deficit nearing 5%, a NHS that is still broke and the list goes on.

It will take a miracle to fix it. There is no way that HPI can be sustained in the face of so much disastrous circumstances.
