Most local authorities have not secured a single prosecution, figures released under Freedom of Information Act reveal

As usual any who either respect or are scared of the system will comply with regulations. Those who do not care or respect any regulation will stick two fingers up and carry on regardless....does it ever change.? Local authorities do not have the resources to carry thorugh compliance, apart from sending vague letters out, whenever they get a sniff of wrong doing. Rogue landlords or just rogues in general know where the bin is for said letters...

I wonder how many people are prosecuted for council tax evasion?

I also wonder how many local  councillors are landlords?
