10 Years after the "crash" [nearly] - where are we now?

WHAT has happened to Dick [apt name] FULD?  WHY is he not in jail?   WHY are all those like him NOT IN JAIL?   Ordinary people have paid the price. WHY has this all been allowed to happen?

Watch him here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_S._Fuld_Jr.

On November 10, 2008, Fuld transferred his Florida mansion to his wife Kathleen for $100. They had bought it four years earlier for $13.75 million.[39]

In March 2009, Fuld sent out an email, widely, stating that he had joined Matrix Advisors, in New York City.[40]

In May 2010, Fuld was registered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as employed by Legend Securities, a securities brokerage and investment banking firm in New York.[41][42] Fuld left the firm in early 2012.[43]

By July 2015, Matrix Advisors, led by Fuld, had grown to about two dozen employees. The firm focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises, advising clients on a range of matters, from opening product distribution channels to completing mergers and acquisitions and sourcing private equity and venture capital funding.[44]

Also in mid-2015, Fuld put up for auction his 71-acre estate in Sun Valley, Idaho. The property was estimated to sell for $30 to $50 million in August 2015, but sold at auction in September for just over $20 million.[45]

But they don't matter, as long as the banks are OK everything is good.

That is the plan....debt forces the smaller firms out of business....that leaves the big boys with the strength, the power, influence and money behind them as the only choice.......not good for consumers......less choice costs more.;)

Re: The aptly named Dick - I suppose you have to be some sort of narcissist and psychopath to be in charge of a big bank. What a c**t. <_<

At the very start of the video he gives Gordon a look to show him who's really in charge.

Thanks for the list macca13, quite something to see them all together. As a bi-annual visitor to the States it’s worth emphasising that most of these are cornerstone retailers present in most malls across the country. I’m not quite convinced it’s all down to amazon et al.

Are we already witnessing UK equivalents suffering the same fate?...

Yup

We never learn, it looks like the writing is on the wall for another round of debt crisis, The BOE keep sending out warning signals but do nothing to stop it.
