BBC Midlands - price ramping - never seen anything like it

Recommended Posts

Shortage of homes, are families pairing up and buying together?

Feel as if i've been transported back to 2006

Edit- After a quick look on RM it would seem there are a far few about 2/5ths sellers reducing the price.

Oh dear, so they've been trying to sell since March but had a sale fall through.. 'the £7k over the asking price also now looks a bit fishy too. Odd they neglected to mention that!

Thinks a letter to West Midlands today might be in the offing.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen a TV news report I’d forgotten how stupid they sound with, their dy-nam-ic way of spee-king.

And ffs qualify the word ‘unprecedented’ otherwise I know you’re repeating ******** from salesmen.

Journalism. The art of reading an autocue in a funny voice.

What is this sales pitch I've just watched? That was a complete unsubstantiated sales pitch from start to finish. Possibly created by the chap who created the Italian spaghetti harvest story for the beeb back in the fifties.

* Buy now! If you don't, it won't be there tomorrow! Inject lots of fear and panic into the equation... works every time. Shame John Palmer's not still around...

I'd better get some cash together. Looks like house prices are going to soar to the moon and back. I could make pure mad gainz, like £10,000 per month increase. I'll be a pwoperty millionaire this time next year.

Hopefully they've reached the moon and are on their way back.

You could make a valid complaint about this to the BBC if they have stated that a house was sold in a week when in has been on for months and the claims about the price at sale are false. Paticularly if there is a freely avaliable information source that speed this to be incorrect.

"A specialist in selling homes through Social Media" !!!!!!!!!!

Dude's a friggin genius!

Hmm well looking at what other posters have put up it could be possible they packed all their items up for the camera, and maybe even did a deal with this agent. He's then got exposure as the opening article on a local BBC show...... they've said they sold within a week! He must be good?

This is extraordinary, even for the BBC! Almost like a comedy sketch!

What is it about women and property, that female presenter was practically fudding herself at the prospect of someone making money from property.

Actually no - this is a BBC "News" item - not a property porn show (where to be expected) - this is quite something for a news item, I would say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps you can't see the difference between different types of TV prog?
