A slow regular steady correction back to reality would be far preferable than an out and out total total absolute crash......then they would all be buying into the near and close to the bottom.....how can a crash happen with many pent-up buyers waiting in the wings?.......a correction can still happen whilst buyers are still buying.;)

So people want to sell stuff to people, who do not have the money to buy the stuff....so they lend money to people to buy their stuff knowing that they do not have the money to repay what they used to buy the stuff = the economy.

No money....no debt, no sale.;)

where does this utopia exist ?

....just print it so people can borrow it and hope they might eventually produce enough to clear it......some will others won't, therefore if in future they want more will just have to pay more to borrow less ......all about having enough willing and able happy debt punters.....'cause no available debt no possible sale.;)

might work if the junkies were not up to their eyeballs already. they need to pay that off first

maybe if people just needed less Sh*t in the first place ? our bent leaders all know we need housing hence the rigged cr*p we have now, the addiction to credit to buy throwaway cr*p is just the cherry on top for banks.

Can we play the leftist game of word play, and refer to HPC meaning House Price Correction?

The term crash implies something doubleplusungood, and it's not OK.  I can't even

It's probably more words

Help Plebs with Credit

Her majesty's Price Control

Human Pawns as Chess

I think at the arcade there was a game based upon it with a slightly different name "Whack a mole"

prices are stabilising in a period of rising inflation.

(or read 0% or therabouts as inflation goes up, CPI ate 3-4 %, real inflation including necessities at around 8-10%pa)

It is pretty discriminatory to only refer to "houses". What about flats?

In fact, please, you really need to stop advancing these harmful stereotypes completely. Some places are not houses or flats but rather they are home non-binary, such as maisonettes, sheds, cars etc..
