'Stagnation' and 'Negative Equity' within two paragraphs. They just can't bring themselves to say 'falling' can they.

Negative rising?

"Estate agents report that in some boroughs prices are going backwards for the first time in years."

That warning, and wider concern about the banks, saw Virgin Money shares clobbered. They fell 24p, or 8%, to 282p.

I think the market read between the lines.

Child saver pain as Virgin's Little Rock bond rates are slashed from 3.75% to 0.1%

Not to mention savers rates in general and the inclination to pump up house prices.

Whatever they have to say about anything I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
