The lengths some young people forced to go to

Recommended Posts

In jest, but still good to see acknowledgment of just how crazy the situation is...

"The cabinets were traditionally used to house a small selection of extra-fancy glasses, a gravy boat and butter dish received as wedding gifts, and an engraved pewter tankard.

However, young adults are increasingly using the cabinets as live-work spaces, citing their hardwood construction and open glass frontage as far better than anything available from private landlords."

Well, unless the government want to help the young in a manner of integrity then they will be in debt for their entire life time. No wonder population growth is slowing... no one can afford it... including the government ?

Two choices......either borrow what can afford and repay it, or borrow max can possibly borrow then the lenders can then go and sing for it....and don't expect the re payers to pay for the defaulters......the payers can and do play the same game as the defaulters when they have to.....then nobody pays.;)

They need to stop immigration apart from the low 000s who are very skilled.

They need to slash welfare. Both cash benefits and also housing benefit/local housing allowance.

They need to train/force people to work rather than claim. (cutting welfare would solve this one anyway).

In the north 2 kids gets you £270 a week cash benefits plus all your rent paid and all your council tax paid.Far more than working full time in a warehouse/shop etc.

So go to uni and have massive debts and struggle to get a home.Or knock two kids out by 18 and retire.

As has been seen in the fire in London sub-letting is also rife.Grandma gets housing benefit and sub-lets while living with her family passing the money to them.

The only thing keeping things going are people bending over and taking it by working long hours and paying their tax. They need to work the minimum, stay under the tax threshold and relax instead. The crash thats coming will force the governments hand, until then rentiers wont do anything because the welfare money flows through the claims and ends up with them.

Benefits have distorted everything. The landlord class trouser our tax monies and/or the Govt. deficit money. Much easier than actually producing wealth. It's why they love immigration, as its just more claimants, and more consumers.

Pull away the benefits and houses would have to reflect what people actually earn. The sense of entitlement now amongst our own and the migrants is reaching obscene levels. When the crash comes; we'll need the army out to keep public order.

Great post. It's a shame the army these days is so subservient to our corrupt political elite.

I'm sure many people would support an army takeover of the country for a good 10 years or so, with Queenie calling the shots from the Palace. We could sort things out and put the nation back on the right path then.
