Pyongyang about to get whacked?

Recommended Posts

If we go to war with N.Korea, then we go to war with China. The reason there is a divided Korea is because the Chinese sent in hundreds of thousands of solders in the 1950's. The Red Army pushed UN forces back to the 38th parallel.

The Chinese will not give up their buffer zone.

I was born in '49
A cold war kid in McCarthy time

Stop 'em all at the 38th Parallel
Blast those yellow reds to hell
And cold war kids were hard to kill
Under their desks in an air raid drill

Haven't they heard we won the war
What do they keep on fighting for?

It's the Americans/South Koreans who are doing the provoking.

North Korea offered to halt all tests/launches if the US/South Korea back off the border and stop holding naval/military drills right off its borders. Naturally, the US refused. In the same way that it refuses to see the idiocy in surrounding Russia and China with military bases and then accusing the Russians of 'aggression' when they go on military tests within their own country.

The only things that might put an end to the American insanity (or at least make them think a bit):

- Chinese aircraft carrier group on permanent station off New York (give it a few years as China isn't ready).

- Russia putting missiles and defence systems in South America.

I wonder how much South Korea and Japan would take, and would they ever do anything on their own? Does Japan even have any army/navy?

I'd be surprised if the US ever did anything. It's just like the good old days of cold war.

Yes, most in the Western media appear to have missed this point. Russia also shares a border with North Korea as well, so they have a certain interest.
