[some indiscernible text]  Write the word in the box....,Verification failed

[select photos with cats in them]

verifification failed- you did not select all the images with cats in!

Seriously though presumably current AI can't beat these tests :)

I'm sick of being unable to log in to sites I usually buy on. So my rule now is: if you don't let me log in easily, I'm going to stop buying from you. I tell them why I've stopped, too. ?

Ill let let you know when I run out of sites to buy in!!?

am pretty sure that captchas are computer generated.

This would explain why humans with colour-blindness, sight probs find them difficult to interpret.

It would also suggest bots could easily be taught / computer learn how to circumvent them

having filled up at asda`s petrol station tonight i noticed it is completely unmanned now, no office or nothing just a row of pumps that have to pre approve payment before it will let you fill up.

its not worth the effort though, human brain power to do it is cheaper than the electricity used by a computer - if I wanted to bypass captchas on an industrial scale I'd setup a office in india and pay an army of people a pittance to do them manually.

These tests now have to beat both software and anyone with basic English skills who can be hired really really cheaply.

There are 2 sides to these tests.

1) Verify you are human.

2) Build massive data sets with qualified metadata (checked for free by humans) so that they can be input into AI training sets.  Seriously, some of the image tests you don't actually have to get right to pass, they are just looking for the human input.

Lunidolls have made the news recently, opening a brothel in Barcelona. They faced resistance from the 'local girls' cos it was damaging business, but now they hope to expand into the UK.

Meanwhile realdoll hope to give their dolls a range of emotional moods
