We all type away... but maybe a petition is the way to go... Get the mob to talk about raising interest rates to help the local inhabitants requires 100,000 signatures - Link

Have signed several such initiatives in the recent past. None alas got near 10k let alone 100k.

BoE is independent anyway. Better suggest that having sat through two housing bubbles since independence, monetary policy should be back with an elected authority. My tuppence anyway. Make any petition specific not general.

Needs to be promoted across social media to the youngsters who need lower prices. I'm sure there's enough Corbyn followers who would sign.

They would literally prefer people to burn to death in substandard housing than stop the rent seeking of the landowner and banking elite.
