Recommended Posts

Couldnt help noticing the Halifax report on TTRTR's area:-

Wandsworth 346,434 334,473 -3%

On a £3.75 mill 'portfolio', that's over 100 GRAND down the crapper.

And he said he just MEWed 100k and asked HPC what to invest in. . . . :o

He hasn't lost it.

He never had it.

He just will struggle to pay of his debt.

At least his repayment motgages will have reduced capital owing..

Oh.. I forgot..

Just hope he hasn't cleverly mewed all of his property to owe at full market rates.

Because CGT is charged against each sold property.

So a £180,000 property that is sold for £250,000 will have cgt charged against the increase.

£80,000

if the remortgage has seen this spent against other property it doesent matter.

This is the clearest example of how mewing does not actually free up money from your house, only increases debt against it.

the halifax says otherwise..

Guess no one knows until they sell what their property is worth..

People are happy to guess when you mew though..

Actually Apom opl buddy, I think it is fair to say that TTRTR LOST 112500 GBP, becuase he constantly bangs on about how much he has 'made'. The 'value' of the portfolio itself is based on the assumption that he has 'made' some profit, even if it isnt realised yet.

And thats the second point, he can still convert to cash by selling his sh1tty little slums, and his profit will be basically as real as you would like. Next year he will only be able to convert to cash for about £400,000 less, so in my book that's another 'loss'.

Can't understand why you get so uptight about another poster. I note in your signature you claim TTRTR would be £11,000pa worse off with every 1/2% rise in interest rates. What have they done over the 18 months? Fallen. He's quids in - nice little cushion for the future.

You need a holiday.

I'll type it in nice big letters you (I'd draw a picture as well but I'm a useless artist)

Rightmove deals with ASKING prices NOT SELLING prices

Just because someone wants £200k for their 2-up 2-down terrace doesn't mean they will get it

I believe I have been corrected before for not using "Initial Asking Prices"

Ah, a post from 'Ignoranus Steve'. I suspect there's actually rather a lot you dont understand. Most of it far more important than any possible reason why I enjoy knifing a parasitical smug b@stard whenever he tries to sound off.

I thought you had promised to leave the board when you crappy little 'Am I more important than CrashIsUnderWay' poll blew up in your ignorant face?
