Compare this former UK leadership….
” We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender..."

To the UK leadership of today..
” Nothing to see here. Move along...”

Anyone convicted or suspected of terrorism and linked to isis should be deported along with all their family members.

Until we get tougher on this issue its only going to spread and get worse.

****** their human rights. What about our human rights

Attracting the attention and focus of terrorists on mainland uk is an unintended consequence of Mays snap election.

The more time goes on the snap election seems to be a catastrophic decision that is yet to fully play out.

In 1939 the threat came from a misguided group of Jew hating, anti-democratic, murderous thugs.

WTF are you on? I don't remember the election being called because of anything to do with terrorism. Brexit, yes. But certainly not terrorism.

Three quarters of convictions for terrorist offence come from intelligence provided by our certain communities. They, singlehandedly are doing more to leave no hiding place for these terrorists. It's not Brexit, social deprivation, or conspiracy it's nutters pursuing a warped version of one particular strand of their religion. Maybe there should be no foreign funding of UK practiced religions nor places of worship. That might affect other religions but we have to be strong. Their sick mindset thrives on dividing us we should do the opposite and unite against these nutters.

There's sad footage of a woman beside her boyfriend lying on the ground wounded the bridge.

She was crying "Pete, Please keep going, you keep going,I love him I love him..."

Wonder how long before this thread is locked "awaiting a Moderator to be on duty" ?

I started this thread more to highlight the weak/non existent response from the government and most political parties to these types of terror attacks in European countries.

The terrorists actually think they are justified, a bit like a crocodile biting off your leg, no point in debating with them, better to ask why 90% of politicians, and a slightly less amount of the public have got their heads in the sand.

To the UK leadership of today..

"we are not afraid",

"you will not divide us",

Take to social media and make a heart shape with your hands,

Hold a candlelit vigil the following night,

"This is how it is now",

"what can you do?"
” Nothing to see here. Move along...”

Amended for you.

What has this got to do with HPC?

Its 4 days to a general election where we are going to elect the government for the next five years.

Campaigning has already been halted.

People will are angry, shocked and upset...not exactly the clear objective heads that are required to vote this time.

In the life of the next parliament we will leave the EU and probably have to deal with a savage recession and negotiate with an unhinged isolationist POTUS.

Could be a HUGE effect on a HPC.
