Almost 400 workers at the Farm Fed chicken processing factory in Coleraine are expected to be told today that the company faces major difficulties. It is understood the
problems arose from competition
from low-priced poultry imports and escalating costs.

same old story--priced out by overseas competition. Got to charge more to pay for those expensive houses!

Anyone eating fasctory farmed chicken from abroad is not only abusing thier body (with growth promoters, antibiotics, hormones etc) but is also a selfish and cruel fool, oblivious to the suffering of other beings.
I suspect my local takeaways are using imported meat, so Ive started ordering only the sauce (eg dansak) and adding my own meat.
