Park Home Residents Join London Protest Over "Unfair" 10% Final Sale Fee

Isn't this similar to an 'uplift', in which case, presumably the commission was in the contract at purchase.

It's simply a reflection that with rampant HPI the 10% seems a lot of money to the seller.

Bit of a waste of MPs time I think, unless soemone can persuade me otherwise - I really am speaking from ignorance

Personally, I can't see why people pay so much for Park homes in the first place.

Boo hoo. More "that bit in the contract I signed is unfair" whinging. Unless they can prove it was mis-sold or mis-represented, they should stop wasting everyone's time. 

If they really felt strongly about it they should have bought a field to put their static caravan in. I'm sure the cost of that plus relevant permissions would have been far cheaper :rolleyes:

If there's an HPC they wont have to pay as much. A place at 200k goes down to 100k then the 10% goes from 20k to 10k. They've halved what they pay. Sorted.
