The best thing on TV is a vase with twigs in it!

The best bit of the old series was geting a load of blokes who spend a lot of time in their garage and tormenting them with the sight if Phillipa Forrester.

Robot wars is absolutely brilliant and when you think about it for a moment, it's seriously impressive stuff.

For ages I thought the robots were shoebox sized or thereabouts; I just about shit the bed when it clicked that most of them are heavier than me, and by quite some margin.

My only moan is too much cringey chatting, not enough smash.

It's quintessentially British. I love it.

I was hoping it would have gone aerial by now, and whilst Dara O'Brien is probably an improvement on Jezzer Clarkson, they should have fought tooth and nail to retain Craig Charles. But I will be watching it nonetheless.

The most impressive thing is the sheer resilience. It's no mean feat to hit hard w/o dislodging some of your own contents. To actually survive being flipped is something else. How many household appliances / cars could stand being dropped upside down etc. Inevitably bits would detach.
