What exactly was Tony Blair up to with Open Britain?

Recommended Posts

Blair last week opened up in great style, but far too late to join the party.

So WHY.

Him and Mandelslime, both widely hated and distrusted are like poison to any bremain campaign.

Was it all about unseating Corbyn by affecting the Bye-elections?

I see it more as technocrats versus proles.

corbyn is very much a prole at heart, which is a bit of a threat to blair and mandelsohn, who see themselves as some sort of new priesthood /nobility class put there to govern the ignorant peasants

Carefully calculated sabotage.

Doubt it, I just think he/they don't get it, all we want for them is to crawl back under their rock and stay there.

He's bored of not mattering in public life. Funding your own campaign group is the political equivalent of vanity publishing.

Blair thinks it was his dodgy ideas that got him election victories rather than a sleazy, inept and compliant bunch of Conservatives - plus mountains of debt, benefits, tax credits and make work jobs.

The delusion is strong.
