London Kings X Tube evacuated

Recommended Posts

Kings Cross Tube station has been evacuated as there are massive problems with mainline railways stations in the area. Too many people causing too many problems as Genesis once sang! A bit of wind and London is thrown into chaos!

I bet a lot of commuters have tomorrow off as they won't be getting home very quickly!

Anyone know what the rough level of immigrants is in London?

i.e. if for the last 15 years we had run a near zero immigration policy, what would the population of London be?

Ethnic mix of London

I should also I add that I don't believe the figures - I think they're much 'worse'.

3 hours to commute home tonight (via KX), live 20 miles north of London.

oh, for a local job

I appreciate that kids and spouse may have had an effect but why not do like everyone else and go to the pub while things calmed down? People and taverns are literally the two things that make London worth it.

Went for a few beers AND got a seat tonight!

Are we saying that immigrants cause bad weather?

Are you saying that immigrants don't cause higher levels of traffic congestion?

car at other end / kids with neighbours (mrs out in London. also got caught) - otherwise, I would normally have done what you suggest, as I love a jar. Plus got a bit spooked getting evacuated at Warren Street due to some emergency

Does your employer really need to be in London? I believe there are a lot who are drawn by the kudos of having a London office and alleged after work livestyle of living in London, which of course the majority of people can't afford to live there! Add to the fact I hear several complaints a week from people who are working in cramped office space because their employer can't afford to upsize their London offices!

Immigrants who drive buses and trains reduce congestion.
