‘Calm will return to France only with change of government’ – National Front’s Patricia Chagnon

The protests are being fueled by people who definitely do not want to wait for the results of the investigation and just use it as an excuse for wreaking havoc in France, says French councilor Patricia Chagnon from the National Front party.

There have been yet more angry protests against police brutality across France with Paris seeing the biggest gathering in one of its main squares. Demonstrators have been throwing rocks and smoke grenades at police and several arrests have been made.

I have been an occasional visitor to Paris, once every few years, for personal trips and I have seen the city go downhill massively. St Denis is by far the worse area I had the displeasure to visit. full of scum.

Riots have been happening around migrant areas of France for many years (especially summer). My father lived in France for over 20 years and was always surprised it was never reported on mainstream news outside of France.

Why though? What were the previous ones about? My only experience is watching the movie La Haine.

I don't know, he did observe that it always hit the news when it came anywhere near Paris :)

Apparently there have always been police 'no go' zones in Muslim areas of some cities on the south coast of France - now they're in Paris I guess people are more concerned?

Can't say I've ever liked Paris, and I've only ever heard bad things about its outskirts.

The whole thing is a farce. Europe is essentially trying to kill itself by allowing virtually unrestrained immigration.

Good to hear the Russian perspective on this.

I'm not Russian, but I actually don't think it is in Russia's interests at all to have Europe fall apart, or to have Europe mass-invaded by immigrants.

It all just leads to more instability, more economic trouble. None of which is good for business. And obviously there is the terrorist angle, so Russia has to be even more vigilant on the borders to stop terrorists from sneaking in from Europe (while still dealing with the terrorist problems they have already in Russia).

I don't think anyone would desire this.

It's more likely to be in US interests, however, as dividing Europe (and in particularly Germany) from Russia suits them very well. As does the collapse of the EU area and currency.

Interesting, but I wouldnt attempt to palm this off onto the Americans. You of all people would well know how eager RT news is to report on EU falling apart due to immigration. It is precisely in Russias interest for the EU to not exist, so that it can hoover up all the EE countries on its borders to act as a buffer. If that means promoting chaos then all the better.

I think the biggest problem for Germany is 1 million migrants, lots of unskilled, cant speak German.. costing them 22 billion to house feed and cloth.. What do you do with them? They already have unemployment, they need facilities to teach and train them, that's assuming they want to work.. My guess is like in Paris they are part of the permanently unemployed, they house them and then just leave them on benefits with no solution..

According to the department of work and pensions the most unemployed immigrants in the UK are Pakistani, that does not include children of the same origin..

If you went to Russia you would realise that Russia itself is far more non-white and islamified than most of the countries that you think are going to hell in a handcart.

Yes, Russia has the highest Muslim population in Europe. I am aware of this. They have plenty of problems of their own dealing with domestic Islamic terrorists.
