£900k for the 7ft wide house

Recommended Posts

As a London bolt hole for one, I'd consider it over a flat or a boat - but not for much more than a tenth of the current asking price. I suspect it would start feeling seriously oppresive after a while.

hmm, " 'This enabled me to get on the housing ladder 13 years ago, as the same square footage in a flat or a more conventional house were going for a lot more money at the time.' "

They spent £325k in 2002. 18 x then national annual average wages. Now they are asking £855k. 32x average wages.

not great for getting on the housing ladder, eh?
