Can't upload a bear!

Mrs Bear

Recommended Posts

After over 8 years here I thought it was about time I added a profile photo.

Tried to upload one of a bear,  recently returned from teddy hospital after being hidden away in a drawer for many years - our dog had chewed most of his face off when she was a pup.  He was a birthday present when I was one, so nearly as ancient as I am. Teddy Hospital did a brilliant job on him.

Can't upload photo from my iPad - file too big.

Any suggestions?  (Apart from rude ones)

I have uploaded a different iPad photo to a music forum, no problem.

Er, wouldn't know how to, Mr P.

Why not load it into some image editing program like IrfanView (free, and I have no connection with the person), and make it small size?

Why not upload a picture of a small jar of honey - and simply lure the bear to your profile instead...?

;)

XYY

It's very very funny

How a bear likes honey

Buzz buzz buzz

I wonder why he does?

(In the immortal words of Pooh, or maybe it was Christopher Robin)

Mr B once found these lines added in teeny tiny writing on a (civil engineering) drawing while he was out on site.

I don't think it was the same day he was looking at a drawing on site and found a goat behind him, eating the bottom right corner.

Omani goats would eat anything - fag butts, old teabags, you name it.

message it the person who said make it smaller, and then they can send it back to you at the right size.

I can't imagine why you might not think I am the " right size"

Draw your own picture of a bear.

Like I did. It takes seconds, but people who don't know think it takes hours and it also looks very professional if you are a good artist.

Eh! - That's supposed to be a bear...????

Looks more like a gigantic purple steaming turd to me slugs...

Sorry Mrs Bear, wish I could help was over 10 years ago I did this, times have changed and ways of doing things have most definitely changed...... notwithstanding how age and the mind changes everything.;)

Are you mentally deficient, using up your life pasting video clips?

Don't know about asking Mr P!  He might turn my ted into a turnip.

Maybe I'll ask Mr B, only he's watching the rugby at the moment.

I have escaped to the kitchen to get away from his frequent yells of glee/woe.

I had three teddies as a bairn - until my eight birthday that is.

That's when me dad decided that I was to old for such things, and ordered me mam to throw them all in the bin - which she did.

I cried for days afterwards.

Years later, as we finally started to get along with each-other, and forgave the other's mistakes, I asked him why he did this.

"Well me and yer mam didn't want you growing-up a poof now did we son..?"

To this day I still can't think of a suitable response to that.

Other than to state that - based on his logic - I'm assuming me aunty and uncle must've given our Stephen a shed-full of the furry bastads...!

;)

I am sad indeed for XYY's teddie less life. Mine is nearly 60, and lives at me dad's house. At university I lied and said I had no teddy, so some kind girl bought me one for my 21st birthday.
