If only those wealthy foreign buyers realised there were such bargains available outside Knightsbridge, Kensington & Chelsea!

Stamp duty is going to leave a bitter feeling - no doubt Mylene Klass will be outraged on behalf of any normal hard working celebrity, media luvvie, or sports personality who happens to buy it.

No.

Is there not a new proposal for another runway at the airport? I know the details haven't been published as yet but I wonder if these people are getting out because they suspect they will be on the flight path; the house is quite near the airport as it is.

I don't know about that, but the house is SW of the airport and the existing runway is NW/SE (15/33) so they are well off that flight path. If there is a plan for a second runway it is likely to be parallel to the existing one, so should not make much difference.

Interesting house, although my suspicions were correct, just spent a few minutes looking it up - built in 1928 with the appearance of being Elizabethan presumably. Not listed so if you want a replica 500 year old manor then why not. Doh, it says this in the listing.

Not sure on the area or price though.
