Russian oligarch receives Autonomous Nation of Anarchist Libertarians...

Recommended Posts

Oligarchs (of any nationality) are not generally people to mess with. Very deep pockets and lots of interesting friends.

Many of these squatters are now identified in pictures. They can be traced. Their families and relatives can be traced.

Consequences can come in a multitude of surprising ways and often after the passage of many, many years. Oligarchs also have long memories.

That surely has to be a teaser for a new sitcom.

The costumes are too perfect, from the anarchic one that thinks hes Che Guevara (lets call him Rick), to the good looking lady(but probably not too bright) and then the loud shouty one that is really a bit of a coward (lets call this one Vivian) and finally the sort of androgynous one that is probably a bit wet (Called Neil perhaps).

Both the US and the UK have all the hallmarks of one. Just in a different style.

How so?

He is just reading from his troll-script.  A massive difference between West's and Russia's corruption is the level it's at.  West's is very high level (lobbying, knighthoods, insider trading); Russia's is across all levels.

Yes, seeing ex-ministers get cushy jobs in investment banks can be stressful; having to bribe while dealing with much lower level officials (police, etc) is much much worse.  At least in England, if I go to a local council or hospital, and they don't care, and don't want to do their job, I know that they actually don't care and are not expecting any bribes from me.
