TheCountOfNowhere
Someone mentioned on another thread ( full of trolls ) everyone seemed to be a home owner on here and we should do a poll. So, here it is. Edited January 23, 2017 by TheCountOfNowhere

Si1
What does 'living in a van' class as, or squatting?
EnglishinWales
What about lodgers? I am renting a room from someone who has a mortgaged house whilst I wait to move into my own rented flat/house in February, God-willing. Technically I am homeless. Ah-so
Not sure you can be a "mortgage owner", but I know what you mean.

Lodgers don't have the protections that tenants do. Same for people in temporary housing or hostels. I want 'homeless' as a category. If you dont pay council tax, you dont get a vote. People in Jail should consider themselves renters.

EnglishinWales
That's better. Can you delete my vote for renter so I can add it to lodger. Edited January 23, 2017 by EnglishinWales
CunningPlan
If the Government pays your rent via HB, are you a renter or a scrounger? More seriously, it would be interesting to have renter subdivided into Private rent and Social sector rent.

If you worked for BHS for 10 years and are now redundant and have to claim HB are you a scrounger or just unlucky? Maybe we should have HB claimants divided into worthy and non-worthy whilst we're at it.

Other areas of the country may be different.

TheCountOfNowhere
So about 70% are renters and 10% are owners and 20% are trolls. Â Sounds about right.
