There is a comedy sketch in this.

More seriously, how many films or TV show has an extended sex scene or nudity in it? Basically all of them, except those for kids.  I was watching some drama on my laptop on a lengthy commute, a sex scene appeared and I was basically praying for it to end.

You could have just fast forwarded ?

But you didn't. You loved the thrill didnt you.

Unacceptable to watch porn on a bus, one would tend to agree.

But did it actually happen?

'Cos I'm halfway through my life, never seen anyone watching porn on public transport, never heard anyone say that they saw someone doing it.

So what's the likelihood of some geezer doing this right next to a (female) BBC hack?

I hate doing that in case crucial information is being conveyed. I did turn the screen brightness down to near zero. Embarassed more than thrilled I'm afraid.

I hate to think of what my conception of Westworld or Game of Thrones would be if I fast forwarded through all of the sex/nudity scenes.  You'd probably come away from Westworld thinking it was a rather badly edited Western.

Well, I'd heard stories from truck drivers at work, over the years that I'd assumed were tall stories, that due to their elevated position on the road, they would now and again spot people having a w@nk in their car. Rather improbably it does seem though, that since the proliferation of camera phones it is actually a thing.

Sister in-law used to drive a discovery and once gazed down at the car on her right at the lights to see a young chap wrestling with his trouser snake in a vauxhall corsa.

Slightly shocked at the time she thought she would ring up the cops and but then realised it was one of those things that is a bit hard (fnarr fnarr) and more embarrasing to explain over the phone.

I once got a gummy of a burd whilst driving - looked up and out window at junction and truck driver was eagerly watching. Fair enough I would be too.

With the porn booths at work at the joys of porn at home, it is nice to get away from it all when on public transport.

Driverless cars will be great for this, though.

How long before we get those Candid Camera type of shows, where we can laugh at the things people get up to whilst sat in Johnny Cabs?

I understand some women like to read things like 50 Shades on their kindles all over the place, including on public transport.  How come no outrage over that?

Is it only that the more visual porn might be overlooked by an innocent -- in which case it would presumably be fine to look at whatever you like on your google-glass or equivalent?

What about watching "bus porn" at home? A routemaster in green gives me a woody!

Routemasters are okay, but try to stay away from the extreme stuff -- before you know it you'll be looking at bendies.

A gummy? Does that mean she took her teeth out first?

Was listening to this on Woman's Hour the other day (only station I could pick up whilst out and about) the BBC reporter who witnessed this incident said she couldn't give any description at all of the perp ''because he had his hood up''... in that case how did she even know it was a man?

She must have been able to see some of his features and what he looked liked and I bet if it was a white skinned man she would be only too happy to offer up that information... but I'm guessing he wasn't a white skinned man.
