Even the Express is Reporting "House Price Growth Slowed"

Recommended Posts

After 16 years of Tub thumping the HPI agenda, even the Express newspaper is reporting on the fact that "hour price growth has slowed",

http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/property/751365/Housing-crisis-affordability-issues-slow-property-prices-Halifax-economy

"Although prices have rebounded from their August lull because of the Bank of England cutting the base rate and enacting stimulus measures, as well as the resilience of the UK economy, observers warn that they could struggle over the course of 2017."

I recon the the odds are 1-1 that panic will set in around June as the "Spring Bounce" doesn't materialise and Carney will have to put the Base Rate down to 0.1% by the end of the year, it won't make any difference at all. This year is going to be memorable!
