longtomsilver
Retarded LL as the tenants could just fill a bucket with water and vigorously pour into pan to bypass the $1 toll. For sh**s and giggles if I were the resident I'd smear excrement all over the internal walls before I moved out.
200p
Unsure about the legality of such a contraption, the tenant posted the story on forum-based social media website reddit to ask the community if the landlord was allowed to do this. --- You see the internet gives the masses immense power. 30 Years ago, these serfs would happily carry on with no question. Bear Hug
I had a coin operated shower in my bedsit in 1995... The seeds of hate for landlords were sown many years ago.
Mrs Bear
Hope the bloodsucking barsteward LL gets a massive fine! Having said that, no doubt some of our own slumlords will gleefully be adopting this tactic.

Guest TheBlueCat
Funny but clearly a hoax. It could be trivially bypassed by opening the lid of the cistern (which shows no signs of being fixed in place) and pulling the flush mechanism directly.
