Furnished holiday lets 105 day rule

Recommended Posts

With all the hoohaw on BTL, Id missed that the furnidhed nokudsy let rules changed a few years back.

HH must be let for 105 to qualify for the tax relief and fun stuff. It used to be 70. Thats an extra 5 weeks.

So what you say. A lot of places I know of were failing to get 10 weeks let.

Theres been a couple of years grace but fail to get those 105 days and you have a problem.

Why do I raise this? My Facebook account gets loads of people sharing Dunroaming for a chance to win £10. A quick look at the booking availability shows some with only 3 weeks booking from Nov16 to Sep17.

Its not just desperate BTLers out there.
