Boomer landlords still buying

Doer upper by me, 3 bed terrace unmodernised for a very long time, sold at alleged bargain price to a 50 something flipper or landlord with a jaguar. It's not a bargain in terms of yield or salary multipliers mind, just in everyone but my mind locally.

Blimey that's cheap, I need to move up north. Could buy a whole portfolio of BTL and rent em innit,for the pricee of one place darn sarf. Come to think of it, thats prolly what's happenjin

It was still a bit expensive compared to local rents, also since it was snapped up by a developer/btlr it implies that once they are a less significant part of the market then local prices have further to fall, imho.
