Bought for £310k in the spring by Thai lady who struggled to get finance. The study in the garage now a bedroom. Decorated throughout, new kitchen. £60k increase in price.

Presuming she wants to get the money back to Thailand... Will she even break even bearing in mind weak pound?

Just a £300K rise in 20 years. and if she was to get close it'd be a 400% rise, wages have gone up by about 70% in that time..

Love that floorplan.

You can answer the front door and sit on the toilet at the same time, without even getting up.  Very handy.

The 4th bedroom was clearly intended as the dining room. It's remarkable how it has now become 'cram as many people (bedrooms) in as possible to make it sound like a big house for the price". Recently, I calculated that if every bed was occupied in the 'top' £600k house in a new-build Taylor Wimpey estate near me (£600k for a Taylor Wimpey FFS), that each person would have about 1sq m of personal space in the living room if they were all watching Big Brother together at the same time.

Turning humans into battery hens seems to be the trend at the moment, the Tory housing minister would approve based on the other thread re his comments.
