They are subconciously submitting already to the inevitable. In a decade or so they will have no choice but men with beards. Isn't Mother Nature amazing.

Oddly enough, I only this morning shaved off a beard back to stubble. I have been conducting an experiment over the past year between cleab shaven, stubble and a fair growth of beard. Basically, I wasted decades of my life being clean shaven - far more women like a man with facial hair than not. No doubt it is the rough and ready bad boy look.

Reminds me...there has been a raft of articles on the beeb lately about the idiocy of companies not hiring people with tattoos.

Culminated in a semi-jokey article about companies where having tats is an asset and not having them is a hindrance.

I think there's a tipping point coming where not having a six pack tats and beards will be frowned upon.

Blokes will probably still be expected to be spineless and ball-less, but with the appropriate outer markings of manhood

P

I saw those. Its to you if you want a tatoo.

But ill never employ someone with a tat on their hand or above neck. Makes the interview easy - i can tell instantly theyre a moron.

The next step is all women wearing black bags. Just saying

Agree- also if you keep it neat it enhances your facial profile. The only thing to watch is if you have a bit of grey, for some reason the white ones seem to grow faster, so rather than reach for the just for me, it's better to keep it a bit shorter.

You're just ahead of the curve speccy. Wait another 2 years till they all shave them off, and grow it back

P

and in 2 years time the back, sack and crack wax is almost mandatory

I was clean shaven up until about a year and a half ago, when I bought a beard trimmer and now have a short beard.

Only shaved it off once since then and I feel naked without it now. Think it helps chaps with a weak chin like myself to a little bit less......chinless.

And when the hair on my head falls out the beard should make me look less like a baked bean.

However if grey hair starts to appear on the beard then all bets might be off. A couple early 30's mates have grown their beards to discover more grey than they'd expected, and that's a bit too young to be sporting a grey beard.

I won't bother searching for it but I read a piece that said beards are cyclically attractive.

For ages they're seen as unattractive, the preserve of tramps and others with personal hygiene issues, then some younger trendy celebs start growing them and some early adopters join in and you have a minority of men with beards. Most of whom are young, fit, and fashionable.

Then it begins to widen out into the scruffier "can't be bothered to shave" group and it rapidly falls out fo favour as we begin to hit peak beard.

IMO we're on the downwards slope now and if you've started growing one now you're three years too late.

Personally I enjoy a wet shave of a morning so the question does not arise.

Bit sad that more people in the western world are more interested in mortgages though.

Why do people have to search for vaginas?

I know where to find them. On ladies.

Dead right renty.

As a little experiment, I typed "fanny" into my SatNav and followed the instructions.

I ended-up parked on your drive...

XYY

Based on those google graphs the interest in mortgages seems restricted to Anglo-Saxon countries (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand), so it isn't a 'western world' phenomenon.
