Here it's 2 for a nice cold bottle. Class .

Uk = rip off.

£ or Euro?

Either would be OK.

There needs to be some sort of beer strike - welll, mass taking in of cans into pubs.

Its beyond a fcking joke.

No. This is proper Beer and the like.

Ive only been in a wine bar once. I was hasing a girl with the best ar5e Id ever seen then or since. It was in Chiswick.

I think I drank a Pimms.

It did not count as I viewed it as lubricant.

Whitby's terrible on beer now. Youve a spoon (newish) and Sam Smiths. The rest is beyond a joke.

According to camra, 29 pubs per week are closing. Golden goose comes to mind. Older folk would not drink at home so went to pub. Captive audience. Now, the trend is to drink at home as pubs too expensive. Also noticed that prices for food in pubs has risen in the last couple of years massively when wages are not rising. Recipe for disaster if you ask me

Plough is very good value and doesn't seem to be overrun by folkies anymore.

I avoid folk week.

I used to work the pumps during folk week.

Any who says 'It brings money into town' is a lying tnuc.

Half a pint (for the night) and a bag of chips.

In the olden days - 10+ years ago - you could just go down a back street - normally Skinner - and pick a smeggy looking pub, knowing al the p1ss soaked carpets could be cancelled by drinking loads.

Now thye try and cahrge the same. Saying its 'for the experience' I can p1ss on my carpets if I choose.

Im slowly regressing back to 15. Getting some cans and a bottle of spirit and going on the beach up below the New Bridge.

That way you dont have deal with over excitable stnuc from Batley or Boro.

Right.

In order.

Cash machine. £50 withdrawn.

Go to booze busters. But special offers, spirit and 'something for the ladies', which may be a lady drink or one with enough alcohol in to act as a disinfectant/beer googles.

Walk up railway towards Ruswarp.

Sit on river bend drinking.

Enter coma.

Technically Im way too old for this.

But the alternative is drinking down wellington Rd.

Took me awhile to get into pre-loading but best thing I ever did. When pubs were cheap it was never a thing but now you'd have to be crazy not to drink before you head out. I've even snuck a flask out with me a few times, although it's a bit of a faff so don't bother now. If I'm not half cut by the time I get out it's going to be an expensive bloody night

What do you do instead of drinking when you're in the pub?

£2.29 a pint locally for Carling when the mood takes me.

Or

£2.49 for a pint of shipyard when the mood takes more often....

Good value. Can get well happy on £20.......

Keep drinking in the pub but it's more in maintenance mode. That's only on a night out in town though. If I go to the pub in the day I wouldn't pre-load.

There's nothing more filthy than the older plainer sister of a hot sister.

SIsters are great. They'll go to any length to p1ss the other sister off.

Are you saying you spent £5 on a pint in Whitby? Seems pretty steep.

Regarding going on strike. Judging by the rate of pub closures, I would say a lot of people already are on strike. Can't blame them to be honest, in all honesty, apart from weatherspoons, and a few specialist real ale pubs, a lot of pubs I know are deserted.
