Frank Hovis
Well I for one find it very refreshing that a politician heading up a major reform of the laws governing prostitution and drugs is prepared to give up his free time to experience their effects first hand rather than just pontificating about a subject upon which everything they know is merely what they've read in the newspapers. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/married-mp-keith-vaz-tells-8763805

Vaz is not one of them. Then i followed the link. Nice to see he's continuing as before - bringing in foreign people to the UK. Looks like hes bent in both the meanings of the word. Frank Hovis
And I note that the BBC, for whom Vaz is a hero because of his strong Remoan and pro-immigration credentials, has not reported this at all. Not just failing to put it on the front page, not a single mention yet. Tick tick.

LiveinHope
Keith Vaz is in it for Keith Vaz alone, I've always thought him odious Still, I was glad too read that he has his eye on the ball While waiting for a message back from potential matches, the MP then got into a discussion with the escorts about the price of houses in London – before the elder escort interrupted, asking: “What do you want?”

Frank Hovis
The Political Career section of his wiki is one dodgy deal after another. Even by MPs' murky standards this guy should not be anywhere near Westminster. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Vaz
richc
Is it not odd that it would be The Mirror reporting this?
LiveinHope
Is it not odd that it would be The Mirror reporting this? That struck me too. The only thought that occurred was that there are likely to be people who have been gunning for Vaz for a while, a decade or more. Vaz has clearly had some protection in the past and maybe that has now gone. I'm puzzled. To me, it smacks of a sting (either journalist led and based upon a tip off or because the escorts knew who Jim was and that they could sell the story); the questions asked carefully covered all the bases, sex, drugs, immigration, houseprices

Frank Hovis
Is it not odd that it would be The Mirror reporting this? I don't read it but given the Brexit vote and the fragmentation of the Labour party might it be trying to reposition itself back to being the paper of the working classes and ditching the Blairite metropolitan establishment of Remoaners? The Masked Tulip
I would have thought that there would have been much money selling such a story to the Daily Mail or Sun than the Mirror. Was it the Mirror that broke the Ron Jones stuff?
