Should The Olympics Be Re-Run?

Recommended Posts

I wonder if Owen the Vote is satisfied with the Olympic results.

He says that he will ignore, or re-run the referendum because he is not happy with the result.

So, perhaps we should, in the words of the House of Lords, revisit the Olympics.

After all, all those races, they were, um,.....................racist.

Yes, and every time a European won something, the Olympic Committee insisted on playing obsolete European folk tunes rather then 'Ode to Joy'

It's not like a driving test. You don't keep going until you get it "right".

Anyway, fairly well done Team GB!

I bet he retook all his A level modules until he got an A in everything.

You mean unlike Jezza with his two E's?

Just looked that up on wiki. Frankly shocked, given his sibblings achievements and his education.

You must hate the fact that our football teams are designed to undermine the coherence of our nation state.

I'm all for regional variety and what I like about Europe is its national variety.

I don't want to see it descend into the homogeneous blandness of a United States of Europe.

Which as a Remainer would be your ideal.

Yes! Italy should look Italian for instance. And Belgium, well who knows on that one?

Belgium should be full of monasteries making awesome beer.

Smashing. But they usually make me fall over. God, through his monks, must be trying to tell me something.

They are a bit dangerous alright - taste fantastic but double the strength of normal beer.

Because Texas and Vermont are so homogeneous?

Perhaps not the best analogy, they will be re-run, every four years.
