MattW
Lolz at the bathroom pic. Designed for somebody very tall and with an exceedingly large backside. Krusty fits one of the criteria.. Seems like the ideal property for some senior banker then.
Arpeggio
Lolz at the bathroom pic. Designed for somebody very tall and with an exceedingly large backside. I think they've increased the perspective on the shots with wide angle lens to make the rooms look bigger. The toilet is a giveaway.
SE10
Will get you this in Wimbledon: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-58236497.html I think it's the quaint exposed bricks on the outside that does it for these row of pretty trace houses. The Prime Minister could only afford to buy this if she cloned herself and had a £375k deposit. The other 99.5% of the population can get on their bike apparently. CentrinoDuo
A house in Wimbledon is good value compared to this 3-bed flat in a tower block in Woolwich http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/property-60469907.html Look at the floorplan - you get a grand total of 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms. Plus the price has recently gone up from £1,850,000 to £1,905,000. And SE18 ain't no SW19. That's madness even if it's in Vauxhall and this is Woolwich ... even canny foreign investors would see through the glossy brochures. Now with Google and all. Agentimmo
Adds to my loathing of EA's in general, seeing this add. They know this ex-LHA gaff is a crock of sh%t but still present it as though in's PCL , Mayfair or the like. They have absolutely no shame. I hope their agency goes bust big time in the next crash. As for the house owners.....I only hope they have rising damp and a council JVC crashes through the front door befor the sale is completed. Apart from that, I had quite a nice weekend, thank you. The Wimbledon property is going for about £1000/p sq ft. It is a house and in Wimbledon. This is a flat in Woolwich going for snout £2000 p sq ft. It should be worth about half the Wimbledon proprty, not double.
Ash4781
The "missing" roof makes it look like the designer left a packet of fags on the plan. In the photo it looks rendered or external insulation possibly a single skin extension. The whole property looks to have 'flat roof' type. edit: do we think one could get a mortgage on it or need a specialist lender? spunko2010
Ha, just noticed the french windows on the one on the right. Thatch next. A curious look indeed. Plastic shutters and a modern B&Q front door. They may as well go the full hog and get some fake Tudor external beams up. Love the wiring job on the Sky dish on the left one. spunko2010
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-43957632.html Similar price but look what you get round my way. 60 acres and at least 2 buildings suitable for flogging on for development plus 6 grand a year towards the mortgage. Wimbledon makes this area look affordable

South Lorne
Brexit has managed to knock 100k off the asking price. I'd get your offer in quickly if you want to secure this. The last sale in that area was this. 325k in 2002 and 1m in 2013. Currently on the market for rental at £4000 pcm. The 'just rent it out, init' really does seem to work in London. It's well past the time to abandon the London search unless you are collecting a lottery win or about to cash out on your .com sale. ...not Brexit ..Osborne increased VAT on BTLs from 5th April...all kicking in ..and we are trying to get rid of the money launderers in the London market ..this is only the beginning for house prices falling ..don't be so simple blaming BREXIT ....that's the best thing that has happened to us for a long time..........
