Frank Hovis Posted August 20, 2016 Share Posted August 20, 2016 Its exactly this hunter gatherer/classification/ranking urge that games like WoW and more latterly Pokemon Go are tapping into. Its why I studiously avoid such things, because I know my deep seated competitive urge will kick in and prevent me from simply enjoying taking part. Yes, there are a lot of things that I'd enjoy but I simply won't do because I know that they will unlock my competitive monster and I will have to be the best and waste endless time trying to do this however pointless that may be.
