Online Conveyancing

Recommended Posts

Ive always used local solicitors. But online seems a lot cheaper. Anyone used one? Any feedback?
Any pitfalls or advantages, apart from the price, I see one advertised for 229 on here. What's the catch?

I've used one 10 years ago. They were ok but slow and updates required your own effort. I think they went bankrupt a few years later. Since then I've used normal solicitors via phone who were more that twice as expensive but, although slow, they were responsive. Plus they helped out with issues that occurred months after the transaction.
