“The Elites Are Not The Problem, The People Are The Problem.”

Germany's elite is going to get a well-deserved one soon.

“The elites are not the problem, the people are the problem.”
- German President Joachim Gauck

That may be the dumbest thing anyone has said since Marie Antoinette, and even she wasn't dumb enough to actually say it!

Yes the people should worship our leaders as they know best.....

This is why Western governments are working so hard to import a new people. If the natives won't vote the right way, they just bring in people who will.

The people *are* the problem. There would be no elites without the people giving them a mandate and happily granting them whatever powers they want. Same principle for the political and economic elites. The people have the power but they choose to hand it to the politicians. The people have the money but they choose to hand it to the purveyors of consumerist tat.

People are the problem, elite (my avatar notwithstanding) or otherwise. Those at the top just make more obvious indivdual impact in the fvcking everything up game, but the whole lot are pushing in the same direction.

Read his wiki - he is basically in the same mould as Merkel. East German, Lutheran, blah, blah.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joachim_Gauck

Here in West Germany more and more people are saying that the reunification of Germany wasn't really a reunification, it was a takeover of West-Germany by East-Germany.

He was talking about Brexit and meant that it wasn't the elite that had a problem with the EU but the people.

Of course, the 'elites' are all for globalisation as it allows them to have more power and make even more money.

He was talking about Brexit and meant that it wasn't the elite that had a problem with the EU but the people

and that's one of the main reasons why so many voted Brexit - the intentional opposition of interests.

Their position and attitude becomes ever more blatant and stuff that didn't really make much sense before must now become crystal clear to most everyone. It helps to explain stuff like the LibLabCon and the unidentified millions being allowed to pour over the borders into the eu from outside etc etc. It also helps to explain why they keep on insisting on freedom of movement when under the current circumstances with sudden mega massive immigration it is a major risk to stability and national security for the people of all eu nations.

Whilst it's hard to argue with that I'm really starting to wonder what they actually get from that power and money. Ah, the things I could do with limitless power and money, but they certainly wouldn't be what that lot do.

They must be thinking that ultimately they'll be the last ones standing - the ones allowed in the bunker.

They'll be hoping it isn't the British bunker because that'll be the tiniest in the world.

Yes, but if they're the last ones standing who's going to do all the work???
