Buy To Let Fraudster Gets Found Out

The founder of a flagship free school and two members of staff have been found guilty of defrauding the government out of £150,000.

"He was in considerable financial difficulties as his buy-to-let business had been running at a considerable loss.

"He fraudulently obtained mortgages by stating a grossly inflated salary and on two applications, even claimed to be a consultant surgeon."

Is he not named in David Cameron's pm leaving honours list?

I'd imagine he'd be the last person to spend £1m (allegedly) on a title given his dire financial situation.

Sajid Husain Raza, the former headteacher of Kings Science Academy in Bradford, West Yorks., his sister Shabana Hussain, also a teacher at the school, and the school's former financial director, Daud Khan, were convicted of a total of ten charges.

Kings Science Academy was a free school set up in 2010 by Mr Raza, who is 43 years old, and primarily run by him.
