AND another one!! .....

Palaces of Corruption: They’re the bling baubles of prime UK real estate, secretly owned by foreign despots and very dodgy dealers – mocking PM’s anti-embezzlement drive (and there he is shaking hands with one of them!)

Luxurious mansions in London and the Home Counties have become the very symbol of corruptly acquired wealth

They also effect ordinary people trying to buy a home, driving up prices and destroying any sense of community

At an anti-corruption summit this week, the PM will emphasise clamp down on embezzlement and money-laundering

Critics say David Cameron is not doing enough - he's failed to order Britain’s tax-haven colonies to open up books

1 in 10 properties in Kensington, 7% in Westminster are owned by companies registered in ‘secrecy jurisdictions’

Edit:

"...penthouse of a property in Park Lane, Mayfair (left) is home to socialite Leyla Aliyeva (right), daughter of Azerbaijan’s leader Ilham Aliyev. He made billions from the country’s oil reserves and was likened in leaked US cables to a ‘mafia boss’. The building and its flats are registered via a web of offshore and UK firms, one of which has Leyla as a director. She is said to enjoy socialising with Prince Andrew and Lord Mandelson"

I KNEW that C**t MANDELSON would be in there somewhere....... C**T.

A Commons committee looked into it recently and they conservatively estimate the amount of money laundered in the UK to be at least £100 billion. And that is annually.

At least £100 billion a year.

http://www.parliament.uk/business/committees/committees-a-z/commons-select/home-affairs-committee/news-parliament-2015/proceeds-of-crime-report-published-16-17/

"The Home Affairs Committee says poor supervision and enforcement in the London property investment market are making a safe haven for laundering the proceeds of crime.

...

Supervision of the property market is totally inadequate, and poor enforcement has laid out a welcome mat for launderers and organised criminals."
