Patiently Waiting

Should We Buy Now Or Wait?

Recommended Posts

My partner and I had to sell our house last year because I became seriously ill and it was very doubtful at the time that I would be able to return to work and the doctors prognosis was none too rosy! We had also very stupidly got ourselves into debt, which was manageable whilst everything was hunky dory, but soon became a major hurdle and unfortunately selling our house was the only way out at the time.

Since then we have been living with the mother in law, I am more or less back to full health and am now at work. In that time we have managed to put some money by and would love to get back into a home of our own. The thing is neither of us want to take the size of mortgage you need now to buy house, we could just about do it, but we're not sure if this is the right time, should we wait a few more months to see what happens with house prices?

I have always been convinced that there will be a correction in house prices, but I feel I'm getting drawn into panic mode like the rest of the sheeple out there.

I would really appreciate any advice on this
