New Builds In Woking Surrey Drop 38% In Asking Price!

Recommended Posts

I know this should really go in the section "prices in your area" but I thought it was worth sharing with a wider audience; at least for a short while before it gets moved?

Whilst casually browsing on rightmove I suddenly noticed this:

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/search.rsp?lo_u...bmit_dosearch=1

Notice the 2 bed Landmark properties and follow the entries down page 1 and onto page 2.

Starts out at £390K :o

Ends up at £280K

Now this is not tied to a specific property just a general 2 bed advert but even so! I'll have a trawl on the land registry and see what the selling prices have been.

23 Sep 2005 38 Park Heights, Constitution Hill, Woking, Surrey GU22 7RT Flat £395,000 LH NB

09 Sep 2005 40 Park Heights, Constitution Hill, Woking, Surrey GU22 7RT Flat £425,000 LH NB

01 Sep 2005 19 Park Heights, Constitution Hill, Woking, Surrey GU22 7RT Flat £285,000 LH NB

31 Aug 2005 8 Park Heights, Constitution Hill, Woking, Surrey GU22 7RT Flat £270,000 LH NB

30 Aug 2005 3 Park Heights, Constitution Hill, Woking, Surrey GU22 7RT Flat £273,600 LH NB

07 Jul 2004 1 Park Heights, Constitution Hill, Woking, Surrey GU22 7RT Flat £631,738 LH NB

If these are the same 2 bed places interesting to see that contrary to the title of this post prices have gone up from Aug to Sept! Whats going on? SIPPS?
