European Fund/tracker Concentrating On Germany And Switzerland

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of a European fund that is weighted towards Germany and Switzerland. I currently have a European fund that is doing OK but I don't really want to have France, Italy, Spain etc.

Also (or alternatively) are there any DAX tracker funds?

One more question - how do I buy into ETFs?

Thanks

any reason for not wanting exposure to countries other than Germany and Switzerland? curious as i invest in european funds, in particular scottish widows european growth which has outperformed its peers.

It consists of 12% german and 16% swiss stocks.

What kind of weighting are you looking for? over 50% to those countries?

dont know of any dax tracker funds, only geenral european trackers

If you want to buy shares in an ETF you need to have a stockbroker, preferably an online broker like Squaregain (formerly known as Comdirect). I use Squaregain and I can highly recommend them. ETF's have higher dealing costs but are expempt from stamp duty i believe

I like your thinking. I don't know the answer though. Sorry.
