Goldman Sachs has hired the former head of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso to help it through the fallout from the UK’s shock decision to quit the EU.

Good to know that Goldman Sachs people not only head the ECB, but the tentacles reach all the way into the heart of the commission.

He waited 1.5 years, but still, this connection of politics and banking is not good. There seems to be some utter confusion, and some politicians seem to think what is good for the banks is good for the people. Warped logic.

Governbankment

I just think they should be something like a 5-year ban for top politicians from hiring with for-profit companies of a certain size. Or something similar.
