Neither party has many people worth voting for. :blink: I am uninspired.

they should stay in till there is a 70% turnout and 60% approval...by that I mean awake, in the office.

I think a general election would be a good idea. I would have a chance to vote for some vaguely coherent package of policies and intentions. It would hopefully give the winning party enough legitimacy to take whatever action they commited to before the election, when they thought the time was right.

I've gone right off referendums, they seem to force political leaders into taking drastic action even when their hand is weak.
